kimono top

I love an easy sewing project. You know, those ones where you sit down after a long day, whip up something in a couple of hours, and your day ends with that deep satisfaction of having created something.

The kimono top pattern from Habitual is just that. Even though I'm a little uncoordinated at bias binding it's still a super easy sewing project.

It's so cute!!! I had one like this for my son -when he was a baby- and it was not only pretty, but also comfy and easy to put on and off! My husband said that the baby looked like Luke Skywalker...ahahhaa

I love yours. Such nice fabric choices. I have been wanting to make this one too. Nice work!

So cute - love the fabric!

I'm so glad you thought it was simple and easy - your post is EXACTLY why I wrote it up. I think more people would sew their own clothes (or at least for their little ones) if they had more fast projects, simple project and straight-forward patterns.....

Thank you for this post!

I downloaded that pattern too, and I've been meaning to give it a whirl.....

Yours looks gorgeous - maybe I can figure out how to make a big one for me?

Hi Rebecca
I have that pattern too - haven't made it yet! Your top and bias looks great!. I am loving bias at the mo. Try making your own! A few burnt fingers from the iron and then you get the hang of it and you feel very clever!!!
