No sewing this week unfortunately but there has been a bit of knitting while relaxing in front of a movie.
I managed to knock a couple more books off the reading pile namely Justin Paton's How to look at a painting and Dave Hickey's Air Guitar. I highly recommend both in particular Paton's book, a great and easy read if you know nothing or everything about art.
Plus some gorgeous fabric arrived from Amitie's VIP club, I already have plans for these although it may have to wait a few weeks.
For more on my desk... and a good read check out the lovely Kootoyoo.

Your knitting looks very interesting. Thanks for the book reccos too. They sound good.
lovely colors on that knitting... and the fabrics too!
Quiet craft in front of a movie sounds perfect to me!
Those colours remind me of icecream!
I dont seem to have anytime to read at the moment with all this blogging and craft activity.
That wool looks so nice and soft and snuggly
So jealous that you have some A.M. Horner fabric on your desk. Cant wait to see what becomes of it.
Ooh - was the movie any good?
I like the sound of Paton's book...very interesting. But the Air Guitar one just cracked me up!
