Last week when I posted a shot of my desk I think maybe everyone was under the impression that I am a super tidy crafter. Well, I'm not. The truth is that my creative space is the dining table so things get packed away into little containers and glad lock bags until I get a chance to pull them out and sew again. Believe me, if I had my own creative space there would be unfinished projects in every nook and cranny (instead they're crammed into every available bit of storage space). This week I'm back onto scented birds for the shop.
Head on over to kootoyoo for more spaces.
My creative space is my bed!!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a table in the playroom that is my creative space. It is usually cluttered with toys and random things.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful teeny tiny embroidery!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful little creative space and even tinier embroidery, its so beautiful. Lovely work. x
ReplyDeleteMine is a table in the corner of my bedroom so when I'm working...my bed becomes my working space.
ReplyDeleteI have taken over the dining room and it looks like it! I also have fabric stashed everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThe advantage in having a space that's part of the everyday home is that we have to tidy everything up and put away...I use my kitchen bench...would love a whole room just for art stuff...but...know...just know...that it would be a huge mess!
ReplyDeleteI am shoved in the dining room too. We cleaned out the garage the other day for a kids playroom, I have to say it was touch and go, I nearly snaffled it for myself
ReplyDeleteyour stitchery looks gorgeous in the hoop!!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that you are human and chaos takes place within your storage spaces :)
ReplyDeleteThe spare room I've set up as being my creative space is so messy that I've now spilled over into the kitchen. Which I'm liking very much beacuse it's closer to the coffee machine!
Your scented birds are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteYou won the baby blanket by the way...for some reason it dropped off my creative space post. Please email me.
your shop has beautiful items!
ReplyDeleteMy craft area (when its not been pasked away ready for the move back to the UK) looks like someone has planted a small landmine in it! I find things better that way ;)
ReplyDeleteI adore your scented birds. xx
