A Granny A Day

My name is Rebecca and I'm a granny-a-holic.

Ok, I confess while I don't have time to do a granny a day I am definitely finding this addictive. I can knock one over in an hour now. Em, what have you done to me??? Don't worry I'm still sewing, but more on that later...

Check out all these grannys.

  1. I went through a phase where I was OBSESSED with making granny squares. Crochet was the first craft my mom taught me that I too to like water. I must have made about half a dozen full sized afghans in the span of 2 years or so...I would just come home from work at night and crochet for hours in the living room while my then-boyfriend watched movies. He HATED that I refused to give my full attention to the movies/him...one reason he's an ex ;)

  2. I love the colors of this one. My mom has tried countless times to teach me both crochet and knitting and I just can't seem to get it. I think it has something to do with my very short attention span.

Anyway, your squares are looking great!

  9. These colours are BEAUTIFUL! I often think crochet can been too dark, but you've hit the nail on the head here! That white does amazing things to your squares and the green and purple remind me of little violets. Just beautiful!

  10. Wow! You've progressed, onto more than one colour, I'm impressed.

I've been granny-ish-ing along, playing with the stitches and seeing what happens. Isn't the prettiest, but should blog it soon.

  13. Leading I have an awesome running stroller. I adore it, and it was the best venture that I have ever constructed. I got it after I truly wore the wheels off my conventional twofold stroller. My puppies are especially all around carried on walkers. Payday Loans Chicago
