Thanks to Em's clever tutoring I made this yesterday at Brown Owls. Check out all the action over here.

And yes, I am now addicted to granny squares :)

  2. Well done. Crochet is next on my list. I crocheted a blanket way back in Year 6 so hopefully it will easily come back to me... I still use it on the couch in winter too!!

  5. YaY! I learnt to crochet as a kid but forgot when I wanted to pick it up as an adult.
Then I searched a pattern on Etsy and the seller actually pulled me through it so I re-learned crocheting in another language (pattern looked like chinese to me at first) I can't stop crocheting now - it's so addictive! I'm planning to make a grannysquare blanket soon too!
Can't wait to see yours finished! :)

  6. We all have a place in our heart for a granny square. Watch out they are very addictive. My mother has been doing them I think for the past 30 years!

  7. It was lots of fun, you did so well, turning out more when you got home. I tried, but I'll blame the pregnant brain for not quite getting it again. I'm determined to try again tonight though.

  10. Granny squares are fun, and this is a portable craft in the car, much easier than sewing or embroidery in the car, no needles or pins to lose.

  11. Not even the extremely talented Em could teach me to crochet. Many have tried and failed - I think it's the way I hold my tongue. However, I do have a granny square throw which my late mother (the failed crochet teacher) made many years ago.

  14. Sadly the law expects you to have cover on a minibus. Strangely despite everything we see huge amounts of entrepreneurs who use them without the best possible cover. On the off chance that you've been utilizing a minibus without an arrangement connected to it there could be outcomes that will soon take after. car title loans chicago
