Tomorrow at
Brown Owls I'm learning to crochet a granny square. I have no idea what I'll do with the square when (if) it's finished. Will I keep grannying my way to an afghan? Or will I give up after one? All I know is I'm loving these innovative takes on this popular style of crochet.

I guess that's the beauty of crochet isn't it? It's so adaptable. Knitting is also adaptable but I find crochet more interesting to do and easier to handle. Making mistakes in knitting can get quite messy!!
ReplyDeleteOne thing you will know tomorrow is that you won't turn back. Once you start you don't know where you'll end up!
PS - love the Blythe top. Might make one for my daughters doll.
ReplyDeleteLucky lady - it's on my list of 'to learns'.
ReplyDeleteI too wonder what happens to all the extra granny squares of the world.
Oh I just love a good granny! I'm making all white ones at the moment, can't wait to start on some cute coloured ones! Hope you are having a lovely weekend!
