My creative space ...


Every surface of the space is covered with half done jobs this week. Half way through stuffing little birds with lavender...


Little ears, arms and bodies waiting for their turn under the sewing machine, lots of erasing and re-planning for the next few weeks, the Stylish Dress Book that I'm dying to use but know it will have to wait till January...


and a few final stitches for a special order.

    Oh those Tessuti books, I've been so tempted but I'm being a good girl for now.

    That Japanese craft book looks so inviting. I need to practice my garment sewing first before I jump into any, though. I bet your house smells so good with all that lavender.

    What a lovely idea, little lavender birds! I was intending to make the little cedar chip & clove sachets as gifts for xmas... But how much nicer to have little birds flying between your clothes. : )
