My creative space ...


I'm working on a new embroidery, it's on a lovely crisp linen tea towel I purchased a few weeks back from Ellie. I'm hoping to have it finished for the BiDM on Saturday. It just needs a name, any suggestions?

    oh she's really beautiful.

    She makes me think of a Goddess of Spring - so how about Persephone or Demeter. Do you know the Greek story of Persephone eating the pomegranate seeds and having to spend Winter in the Underworld, and then the rejoicing of her mother, Demeter, when Persephone was freed from Haides (God of the Underworld). The happiness of Demeter + Persephone is what makes Spring come each year.
    {Do a google search, there's lots to read}.

    Can't wait to see it all on market day.
