My creative space ...
I'm stitching three new pieces for the BrisStyle Indie Eco Market on Saturday. This is a sneak peek of one of them in progress.
If you're in Brisbane or close by there'll be loads of eco-friendly and vintage wares up for grabs at BiECO as well as Reverse Garbage, Peppermint, a Kimono Reincarnate vintage kimono and fabric sale, kumihimo demonstrations, the very cool vegan hot dog guy, entertainment, hot coffee and loads more. It's on this Saturday 10 July, 9am-2pm at St Augustine's Church Hall and Grounds, Racecourse Road, Hamilton.
For more creative spaces head to Kirsty's and if you haven't entered my giveaway at Adore by Nat yet check it out here and interview here.
If all goes to plan I'll be back tomorrow with some images of the final pieces for Saturday.

I just love the natural linen with the dark thread, beautiful!
What a beautiful little bird. I love that linen too.
Looks lovely. Have fun with the market prep.
Such beautiful work, as always!
I'm trying out embroidery hoops at the moment for fabric stretching (that's My Creative Space today)- tell me, what do you recommend for the loose edges once you've trimmed the fabric at the back? I have no idea what to do!
Beautiful work Rebecca :) Kx
Its just the weather for staying in and doing some quiet stitching. Your work looks so lovely.

So lovely..the colour, the design, the linen! Best of luck at the markets :)
your work is beautiful, I wish I was going to be in Brisbane, it would be warmer too!
Oh, your blue bird is looking lovely!! I've just signed on to kootoyoo's creative space tour and I'm blown away by all the brilliant and varied work out there in bloggy world. It could take me a day or two to get around all of it, lol. I'm rather partial to embroidery, I do a lot of free hand machine embroidery. Hope you have a great day at the markets:)
heheh, we both love a little embroidery on some linen- such fabulous taste you have!
