As promised, three new wall pieces for tomorrow's market: Little wooden toy horse hand-embroidered on vintage linen tea towel,
Songbird hand-embroidered on organic linen, and
this one is hand-embroidered on a vintage embroidered table cloth (it was stained so I'll be re-using sections of it for future work), the flowers are the original embroidery from the cloth. She doesn't have a name yet, suggestions?
All three will be available at the
BrisStyle Indie Eco Market tomorrow (10 July), 9am-2pm at St Augustine's Church Hall and Grounds, Racecourse Road, Hamilton.
See you there!
She's very pretty...Claire or Jessica? They were the names of my favourite dolls one hundred years ago. Unweird names, it took me a long time getting used to my own. Thanks for stopping by yesterday and leaving your lovely comment

ReplyDeleteAll stitching are beautiful.
I love that you included the floral embroidery amongst your own. Your lady seems confidentally aloof to me so a French name immediately came to mind - Claudette or Eloise perhaps?
ReplyDeleteThe embroidery master is at it again!!!Can't wait to see them in real life tomorrow. x
ReplyDeletebeautiful Rebecaa, I love the horsey on the vintage teatowel especially. xo
ReplyDeleteI LOVE her, whatever her name is. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely. Good luck at the market. If I still lived in Brissie, I'd be getting myself along to it. But thankfully Melbourne has so much to offer on the handmade market front! You can never have too many handmade delights. And yours are no exception!
