a bit about where paths lead

Continuation of the tiny stitches

Some people are really good at gettin' personal on their blog, me not so much. Last year was one of my most life-changing years to date but from the outside looking in you might not know it. Fortunately I put enough good energy out into the universe which led me to the one I like to call 'the most beautiful person in the world' aka country boy. That means that I get to run away to a little tree house every once in a while and stare at this.

good morning

It also means I'm more settled and more inspired to create tiny stitches about my city/country life like these.

I feel a bit like Jerry Seinfeld in that way, there's ups and downs and lots of funny bits along the way but by the end of the episode everything balances out (as opposed to George who always ends up a little worse for wear).

If you want to see what the tiny stitches end up as in person pop along to the BrisStyle indie Twilight Market on Friday night, details here. If you're not in Brisbane you can watch the process on facebook, twitter, flickr or instagram (look for edwardandlilly) over the next few days.

  10. I am such a fan of the tiny stitches. There are several Japanese craft books with similar concepts, are you familiar with them? I always enjoy peeking at them. Something about miniature thread drawings makes me so happy!
