It's time to celebrate craft in Brisbane!

This year I have had the most rewarding and amazing journey partnering with Roz Fenson to work on The Nest project and to take it to the next level. We have been working hard behind the scenes (and having lots of fun) developing The Nest into a community space to share, create, nurture and develop.

The Nest is a project that builds confidence and empowers participants from all walks of life and across all generations. We want to make creative development opportunities financially accessible for everyone so we'll be seeking lots of support along the way to make this possible. It's much the same as what I've been doing with Brisbane Brown Owls and the synergy between The Nest and Brown Owls is uncanny. It's great to connect with someone that shares the same values as me when it comes to the difference creativity can make in people's lives, in the Brisbane craft community and beyond.

There are some very big and very exciting things in the pipeline for The Nest that will really bring huge opportunities to the Brisbane community. These will be announced in the new year but in the meantime we would love to invite you along to celebrate The Nest being set up as a not-for-profit organisation and the journey and achievements up until this point for The Nest, Brisbane Brown Owls and edward & lilly.

Come along for a full day of pre-Christmas crafty fun on Saturday 13 December on the front entrance lawn near the train at Boundary Street Markets in West End including:

Recycled Paper Making 3 sessions to choose from during the day. $20 includes workshop to make 10 sheets of paper.

Jar painting from 3-5pm. $15, bring your own jar and chair or picnic rug to chill out on.

Followed by The Nest Launch from 5-7pm. BYO plate to share and wine.

RSVP is absolutely essential. Click here to book you spot!

I hope to see you there to celebrate our journey so far and to toast to an exciting future for the craft community in Brisbane!

Training must hold an incentive for understudies, regardless of whether this be getting an instruction to land a lucrative position, positioning first in our class, feeling the fulfillment of picking up, illuminating ourselves, satisfying our families. Esteem is close to home, and we as a whole put resources into what has an incentive all alone terms. Payday Loans Chicago

You guys have turned the disoriented path of my life into a positive and useful path by involving me in some fascinating crafting skills. i loved this because it helps me in my complex assignments. This specific art form has somehow reduced negativity and depressed thoughts from my life.
